Paul Borges, Brian Drent and Jordan Gilroy

This week on The Great American Collectibles Show, presented by PSA and The National  Sports Collectors Convention has Tom Zappala Florida and John Molori in snowy New England at out Studio 21 Podcast Cafe location. This week we have a good show for you, Jordan Gilroy, Lelands is on as well as Brian Drent, Mile High Card Co, but leading off is Paul Borges, PB Collectibles. We get into security at your local card shop, Paul owns a brick and mortar location, he also has a great Lou Gehrig card and some cool Ted Williams signed balls as well, also talks about a cool vintage baseball and football collection as well! Then, our main guest, Brian Drent from Mile High Card Co joins us and catches us up with the goings on at Mile High. 2023 has been excellent already, traveling to shows and whatnot. Tom gets into the Ja Morant situation and whether or not he has value still, and in the big picture, be wary of the Ultra Modern collectibles. We also discuss the signed card, and how it used to be a big No-No, not so much anymore. We also get Brian's thought on the market and if it is softening or slowing down some. Our final guest is Jordan Gilroy, Lelands has a lot going on, the last auction they had was great, and Tom is handing over some of his own memorabilia for sale to Lelands. we also hear what Lelands has next, the list is very long!

Mike Provenzale and Scott Russell

This week on The Great American Collectibles Show, presented by PSA and The National Sports Collectors Convention has Tom Zappala in Florida and John Molori in our Studio 21 Podcast Cafe. This week we have the voice Mike Provenzale from Heritage Auctions and Scott Russell from the Collector Connection. Mike is first and we catch up with him and find out what is going in at HA this week! They platinum auction which is ongoing and then the big May auction is up next, which we expect to be around 3000 lots, even Tom Zappala will add a card to that auction. The panel talks about guys who were Baseball HOFers until they started using steroids. Non rookie HOF cards are hot right now, Clemente, Mantle and more are spoken about. The guys go back into Clemente and why his cards and memorabilia are increasing in popularity. Ticket stubs, magazines, photo's and other memorabilia are hot as well at this moment. Also the panel has a nice conversation about Bill Russell. Our final guest is Scott Russell from The Collector Connection he has an auction going on right now, second auction of the year, graded cars galore, from late 1950's
and Mantle's.

Le Behrens, Joe Tomasulo and John Taube

Our first guest is Lee Behrens from Sterling Sports Auctions. Lee has some interesting
items on offer as usual and runs through the over 700 lots, including a 1964 Beatles set, 1970 Kellogs high grade, 1954 Topps, a cool Christy Mathewson, some Ty Cobb items as well. Joe T joins us and gets into modern memorabilia and whether or not it's tailing off. The Mickey Mantle rookie card comes up next and Tom asks why 
the 1952 Topps card is still so valuable. Joe always brings so much to table, this show is no exception. Finally we have John Taube on with us and he IS the bat man, he knows all and see and grades everything. Rico gets into a great story about bats and it's a great story!
