Dan chats quite a bit about Babe Ruth material that they have on the docket this auction, including some rare items. Memory Lane also has a
great program from the 1903 World Series that Tom may bid on, although it might require selling a car or two! We then have Dan on with  John DeMarais, New England Card Show who has an expanding show, you guessed it, in New England. John has a show this fall in Springfield that has some very cool former players fot autographs and a very special night planned at the Basketball Hall of Fame.

We are all over the place!

This week on The Great American Collectibles Show, presented by PSA and The National Sports Collectors Convention has Tom Zappala and John Molori are at the Studio 21 Podcast Cafe. First up we have Al Crisafulli, Love of the Game Auctions with us and he has an auction ending soon, he gets into his favorite lots in the auction, we also touch on the Fernando Tatis, Jr suspensions and how that crushed the value of his
memorabilia. Tom also makes a trade with Al for some LOTG swag, let's see if that happens! Tom even does a rapid fire section with Al, that might become a more constant feature on the show. The Final 15 has Jordan Gilroy and Landon Bailey from Lelands with us, Landon is new to Lelands and we get into his role with the company, Jordan addresses the recent Pop-up auction they just had as well. Mantle, Grading vs Eye Appeal & More

This week on The Great American Collectibles Show, presented by PSA and The National Sports Collectors Convention has Tom Zappala and Rico Petrocelli are at the Studio 21 Podcast Cafe. This week we have Derek Grady and Joe Orlando of Heritage Auctions and Scott Russell of the Collector Connection. First up is Derek and Joe as they chat about the National and the great time everyone had. First the guys get into the grading of cards are whether or not to trust all the grades or just trust the desire to buy that particular card. They did circle back around to the National as it it's starting to get the feel of an event like Comicon, a more powerful feel of energy, everyone agreed that is for the better of the hobby. Derek responds to a great question on how he views grades when he looks at a card in a holder, considering his vast experience as a grader. Next we have Scott Russell from the Collector Connection and we get right into how the National went for him, did he pick up any consignments (yes!) and his company is hiring, want to get into this hobby, contact Scott!

This week on The Great American Collectibles Show, presented by PSA and The National
Sports Collectors Convention has Tom Zappala and Rico Petrocelli are at the Studio 21
Podcast Cafe. Terry Melia from PSA is on with us and he gets into the Headline right
away about that Mantle card, Terry also chats with Rico about is career and the 1975
World Series, especially game six. Terry does talk about the changes to PSA Magazine,
gets into what he collects and even some information about his family. The On Deck 
with Rico Petrocelli segment was excellent as usual, Terry evens shows us a 1972 Rico
card that he has. Charlie Parrino, JRI Cards joins the show after the second break
and he always has a lot going on, JRI will be at the National and they will have a big
break on the Berkus Stage.

Clean Sweep and Memory Lane

Grady Talks Grading

us, Charlie goes first and he gets into what they are up too right now and tells us a bit about the Charity Breaks JRI Cards does. Then we get to Derek Grady who is usually all over the map, and this show is no different. Heritage recently auctioned off a Nobel Peace Prize for charity, that raised 103 million dollars! He also gets into HA's most recent auction results. We speak a bit about Derek's own collection and fires him up. The heart of the discussion really ramps up when to talk about Grading and we get into great detail, really cool part of the show!

Warming Up for the National

This week on The Great American Collectibles Show, presented by PSA and The National
Sports Collectors Convention has Tom Zappala and David Martinez is sitting in for
John Molori, whois on assignment. We have Brian Drent, Brian Drent, Mile High Card Co.
on with us, Lee Behrens, Sterling Sports Auction, Joe Drelich, East Coast Sports Marketing and David Gelfman, Ripping Wax. We start with Brian briefly and switch to Lee Behrens to chat about his 104th auction which has many highlights, he has a nice mix of 
vintage cards including a complete 1964 Topps set. Brian Drent is a semi-regular with us
and it's always nice to have an extended conversation with him. We get into fractional
buying, the latest trend including what has chilled. We do discuss NFT's and we all agree
we know little about this part of the hobby. We of course get to the National and how
every is excited to see each other and to experience the hobby on the big stage!
Speaking of the National, we have Joe Drelich of East Coast Sports Marketing and 
David Gelfman, Ripping Wax and the National talking about that amazing event and the
